course description

Computer Security & Information Assurance specialist plans; coordinates; and implement the organization’s information security; computer security; install security software; monitor networks for security breaches; respond to cyber attacks; gathers data; and evidence to be used in prosecuting cyber crime. Computer Security and Information Assurance research focuses on cryptography; trust; privacy; and information survivability issues such as threat modeling; intrusion detection; assessment; and recovery in networked computers and wireless networks.
